Shaw Construction Giving Free Coffee to First 50 Customers at Peach’s Corner Cafe on Monday, Oct. 12 in Honor of 50 Years of Building in Aspen
Who: The Aspen community, Shaw Construction, and Peach’s Corner Cafe
What: This year marks Shaw Construction’s 50th year of building in the greater Aspen area. As a way to say ‘thank you’ to the Aspen community for its support, Shaw Construction is giving away a free coffee or espresso drink on Monday, Oct. 12 at 7 a.m. to the first 50 customers at Peach’s Corner Cafe located at 121 S. Galena Street.
Why: Over the past 50 years, Shaw Construction has made a positive impact on the Aspen landscape, building its first project in the area in 1965 – the Victoria Lodge in Snowmass – followed by a plethora of other projects including the Sundeck Aspen Mountain Club, The St. Regis Hotel, The Little Nell Hotel and Hotel Jerome to name a few.
Shaw Construction continues to build new projects in the area today and is currently in the process of working on The Berg House, Block 99, the final phase of the Aspen Music Festival & School and Aspen Country Day School’s Matthew & Carolyn Bucksbaum Campus, The Element Hotel by Westin in Basalt, and Block 7 in Willits.
“We have been building in Aspen for almost as long as we, as a company, have been around, and we look forward to contributing to the Aspen community for years to come,” said Steve Meyer, CEO of Shaw Construction. ”We look forward to giving some of the residents of the community a morning coffee to help start the day off right.”
