Shaw Construction provides a full range of construction services. We have extensive experience in Design-Build, Construction Management and General Contracting. More than 90% of Shaw's work has been completed through a negotiated partnership acting as an Advocate for our clients. This approach provides cooperation, communication and coordination, resulting in high-quality projects that are completed economically and efficiently.

Construction Management

As Construction Managers, Shaw Construction has represented owners through the design and construction process. Our greatest value during a project is derived during the design development phase. We apply a proven approach to planning, scheduling and estimating to develop a thoughtful approach to the construction phase. We not only look internally to provide solutions, but utilize the strength of the entire team to reach conclusions to difficult project issues.  In turn, ensuring a smooth construction process free from the disruptions many projects experience.

General Contractor

Shaw Construction has been a General Contractor for hundreds of projects since the company was founded in 1962. We have established relationships with reputable subcontractors locally, regionally and nationally. Shaw has the ability to self-perform certain aspects of our projects at the owner's request. Design-Build

Shaw Construction performs over 30% of our construction volume in a Design-Build relationship. We have significant experience successfully completing numerous Design-Build projects in the Front Range and Western Slope. In contrast to the traditional arrangement where the owner contracts separately with the architect and the contractor, Design-Build creates a single contract between Owner and Design-Builder. Shaw Construction has many long-standing architectural relationships to create a strong team to create a project unique in design and function.  We have successful performed on Design/Build teams for the expansion of Folsom Field at CU Boulder, the multi-phased Burlingame Housing development in Aspen and Ball Corporation's Technical Center Expansion.
